Private Beta Notice
ParkShare is currently operating as a limited private beta. These policies apply to the current beta service and may be updated as ParkShare transitions to public launch.
The beta is operated directly by its founder. Formal business registration details and additional legal information will be published before public release.
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how ParkShare ("ParkShare", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Service at https://parkshare.bantaitech.com.
ParkShare is currently a private beta project developed and operated by its founder. It is a resident-to-resident parking marketplace for verified condominium communities. During private beta, the Service connects verified residents within the same condo community and does not process in-app payments.
Business registration details, legal entity information, and additional formal contact information will be published before any public launch. These policies apply to the current beta and may be updated as the Service matures.
Effective date: 15 July 2026. By creating an account or using the Service, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, information generated through your use of the Service, and limited information from authentication providers when you choose to use them.
- Account and signup data: full name, email address, password (stored by our authentication provider as a secure hash), condominium and tower selection, unit number, phone number, preferred contact method, and marketplace role preferences (for example, listing parking, renting parking, or both).
- Facebook Login data (when enabled and you choose Continue with Facebook): name, email address when permitted by Meta, and profile photo URL when available. We may copy your profile photo into our storage for display within the Service. Facebook Login is optional; email and password signup remains available.
- Residency verification documents: proof-of-residency files you upload (such as utility bills, association documents, or other materials accepted by our admin review process), associated metadata, and admin review notes needed to approve or reject verification.
- Contact information: phone numbers, email addresses, and preferred contact methods you provide for account setup, profile display, and coordination after a rental request is accepted.
- Parking listings: slot descriptions, building or level details, photos, pricing, availability schedules, and listing status you submit as an owner.
- Registered vehicles: vehicle make, model, color, plate number, and photos you provide when requesting or accepting parking rentals.
- Rental requests: requested dates and times, messages or notes submitted with a request, request status history, and counterpart contact details shared after acceptance.
- Manual payment information during private beta: references to GCash or other off-platform payment methods that users voluntarily share with each other after a rental is accepted. ParkShare does not collect, store, or process GCash credentials, bank account numbers, or payment card data in the current beta.
- Technical and usage data: session identifiers, device and browser type, IP address, pages viewed, and error logs collected through our hosting and authentication infrastructure for security, debugging, and reliability.
3. How We Use Information
We use collected information to operate, secure, and improve the Service, including:
- Creating and authenticating your account and maintaining your session.
- Completing onboarding, prefilling profile fields when you use Facebook Login, and routing you through mandatory condo profile completion.
- Reviewing residency verification submissions and gating marketplace access until an administrator approves your status.
- Displaying parking listings, rental requests, and limited profile information (including profile photos) to other verified residents of your condominium community as the product requires.
- Facilitating contact between owners and renters after a rental request is accepted.
- Enforcing condo-scoped access controls so residents only interact within their approved community.
- Monitoring abuse, troubleshooting errors, maintaining audit records, and complying with applicable law.
- Communicating with you about verification status, account issues, and Service updates.
4. Facebook Login and Profile Photos
If you use Facebook Login, we receive only the data Meta makes available based on your permissions and our requested scopes (typically email and public profile, including a profile photo when available).
When a profile photo is available, we may store a copy in our private storage bucket for display on your profile and on appropriate in-app surfaces where resident identity helps build trust (for example, accepted rental coordination views).
Facebook profile photos are a convenience and trust signal only. They are not proof of identity, proof of residency, or a substitute for admin verification of residency documents. Your verification status is determined solely through our document review process.
If Facebook Login is disabled or you do not use it, you may still sign up with email and password. Absence of a Facebook profile photo does not affect verification decisions.
5. Who Can Access Your Information
Access to personal information is limited by role, community scope, and business need:
- You can access and update much of your profile and contact information through your account while signed in.
- Other verified residents of your condominium may see information necessary to use the marketplace (for example, listing details, limited profile and vehicle information, and contact details after an accepted rental request).
- Community administrators designated by ParkShare may review verification documents, listing queues, and rental activity for your condo.
- Platform administrators may access data as needed for verification review, fraud prevention, support, and Service operation.
- Infrastructure providers (described below) process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards.
- We do not sell your personal information.
7. Service Providers
We rely on trusted third-party providers to operate the Service. These providers process data according to their terms and our instructions:
- Supabase — authentication, PostgreSQL database, row-level security, and private file storage for verification documents, profile photos, vehicle photos, and slot photos.
- Vercel — application hosting, edge delivery, and operational logs for the ParkShare web application.
- Meta / Facebook — only when you choose Facebook Login; Meta processes your login according to Meta's own privacy policies and the permissions you grant.
8. Retention and Deletion
We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
Verification documents may be retained for audit and fraud-prevention purposes after a decision is made, unless deletion is required by law or you submit a valid deletion request that we can honor without compromising legal or security obligations.
You may request account deletion or correction by contacting us at the email below. Some records may be retained in backup systems for a limited period or where retention is legally required.
9. Security and Limitations
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted transport (HTTPS), authenticated access controls, database row-level security, and private storage buckets with access policies.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for activity under your account.
Manual payment arrangements during private beta occur outside ParkShare. We are not responsible for information you choose to share directly with another resident through GCash, SMS, Messenger, or other channels.
10. Your Rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of your personal information, or to object to processing and request portability.
To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Admin verification records may limit what can be deleted while an investigation or legal obligation is active.
11. Children
The Service is intended for adult condominium residents. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 without appropriate authorization.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service evolves (for example, when new authentication methods or payment features launch, or when ParkShare transitions toward public release). We will post the updated version on this page and update the effective date when changes are material.
Continued use of the beta after changes become effective constitutes acknowledgment of the updated Policy, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
